Thank you for reading this |
My name is Dorothy. I live in New York City and work for Metro newspapers. I'm not going to lie — I'm pretty famous with the people who read free daily newspapers on their commute into work and the four people who bought the book I co-wrote called "Dating Makes You Want to Die." This is where I'm going to write things when I feel like it. |
This is how our new dog Scout communicates with us — through yodeling. Has anyone else heard another dog do this? It’s so awesomely weird.
Btw: Scout is from Picasso Veterinary Fund, where many animals go when their owners are sick or dead (they also care for sick and injured animals when their owners can’t afford to take care of them). Her owner had terminal cancer and none of his family members could take her in. She’s simply the best dog but was in the pound for seven months before we fostered her. If you’re thinking about getting a dog, PLEASE look at options like this before you buy one from a breeder or a puppy mill. There are so many amazing animals out there that just have had shitty luck.
