Killing ‘Colonel Cataffy’
With all the news about Libya and Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, Nat mentioned to me a Nintendo game he played in the 80s called “Metal Gear.” The plot? You’re a man named Snake and your arch nemesis is “Col. Vermon CaTaffy”, “a once tranquil shepherd boy” who “turned to terrorism at an early age.”
He was enough of a threat in the 80s to make him the enemy in a video game and yet we haven’t gotten rid of him?
Seriously Internet — someone had better get on this with a remix or something of that sort ASAP. Yours could be the viral video made by some lazy white person of the revolution!
