My name is Dorothy. I live in New York City and work for Metro newspapers. I'm not going to lie — I'm pretty famous with the people who read free daily newspapers on their commute into work and the four people who bought the book I co-wrote called "Dating Makes You Want to Die." Meet Melvis - Ketchup, a stray who literally followed one of our old dogwalkers home this week, cold, cut up, dirty but still as friendly as can be. She had to surrender him this week as she already had a dog and a cat — if no one had picked him up, he’d be put down. So my husband and I rescued him although we can’t take on the permanent responsibility of a dog right now. We’re more than happy to foster him for a bit but really need to get him into a permanent home, the sooner the better. He’s SUCH A GOOD DOG. Leash and potty trained, knows basic commands — is just as sweet as can be. Can you please repost to your followers? And if anyone is interested, please email dorothyrob AT gmail.com.
